Activist, writer and scholar Dr. Angela Y. Davis, Distinguished Professor Emerita of History of Consciousness and Feminist Studies at the University of California Santa Cruz, delivered a public lecture titled "1968: Lessons from Fifty Years of Change" on Wednesday, October 10, in the sanctuary of Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church. The lecture was sponsored by Candler’s Laney Legacy Program in Moral Leadership.
